Things that are making me
happy this week:
(AKA WILW)
my barbie travel mug
I stayed at my parents house on Sunday. In the morning, my dad sent me out the door with this mug full 'o coffee. It says "Houston, we have a FASHION problem!" He thought he was pretty clever with this one...it's both making me feel kiddish and is the perfect portion of my favorite anti-depressant. It's as if it were designed for a 9 year old caffeine addict...odd target audience for coffee product and A-plus parenting.
laughing baby videos
Is this a universal truth? It's
as if a laughing baby can part skies to bring the glitter of Zeus and Hera down here onto Earth. And I'm probably going to need
to create a baby laugh track for work. It will make all the difference
in productivity and positivity. My friend Audra deserves thanks for
reminding me how much I love laughing baby videos. This one's a classic.
candyland
Candyland is the best board game that exists, except for Sorry. ("#sorryImNotSorry" -Candyland) Look, I know it's for wee children but I like candy, I like winning, and it's full of bright colors. In addition, Candyland has made a very special debut into my life. It has sparked hours or lively debate and conversation.
8 full hours of uninterupted sleep yesterday eve
It's been several fortnights since I experienced a night of uninterrupted sleep. I went to bed a midnight, and woke up at 8, without even a peep in the night. My eyelids did not flutter into consciousness, nightmares did not plague me. No 30 minute coughing sessions were had, nor myserious lower back pains. It was surprising and quite exciting. I can't wait to try it again tonight.
dexter
When you're too poor to buy a TV, you are forced to rent DVD's from the library. I've been catching up on Season 3 of Dexter, and am glad to do it. Deb's a stupid bitch, and I can't understand why so many Miamians have NYC accents. Despite those two dark spots on the show, Dexter is in my DVD player and making my life about 76% better.
I've got lots more where that one came from.... haha. And look up babies eating lemons on You Tube, the one set to "Bittersweet Symphony" Hysterical!
ReplyDeleteI started watching Dexter by DVD, and I am hooked! I refuse to pay for Showtime so I have to wait a full year to watch the current season, or watch it online (perfectly legally, of course)
