Don't let anyone else pour your drink because you never know how much alcohol is in it.

About a year ago, Mike & I began having "Family Dinner" with his friends. Mike and I have an age difference of seven years, so many of his friends are married, and either have children or are planning on them soon. My friends, however, are less committed and have more time to be fancy free (read: drunk), so Mike and I ended up spending most weekends with my friends.

After a few months of that, we started to feel a little disconnected from his friends. Enter Family Dinner. Once a week (most weeks) we have dinner with his friends and their young families. We take turns hosting, and whoever hosts, don't gotsta cook! The rest of us pitch in with the entree, dessert, and wine. After dinner, the women-folk take the chance to watch that week's pre-recorded episode of The Bachelor, and the men watch whatever sport is in season.

Last night, everyone else decided to have beer with dinner, and I decided on wine (because beer is nitwit juice, and I'm not a nitwit, obvi.) During the course of the night Craig poured both of my drinks, and at this is what the bottle looked like. Because Craig is a magician and can turn a 750mL bottle of wine into three pours. This is a life lesson! Always watch your drink! You never know when your boyfriend's best bro will over serve you when you're not paying attention.
