Smart people are better than dumb people. Smart people think up original content, and I guess I'm just not that smart, especially not today, when my contacts have fogs on them and when I overslept and barely made it to my breakfast date with Gretchen at The Angry Baker (eat there. it changes lives.). Lauren IS smart enough to think of original content, and I like her link-up (link up with her, duh). Way 2 go gurl.
1. Nothing says fall like crisp air and my mom's Halloween decorations (she has a Halloween Village, much like your mom probably has a Christmas Village) .
2. My favorite autumnal tradition is catching specials on TV, such as "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" Strolling outside on a sunny fall day also makes me a smidge giddy.
3. My favorite fall treat is Grandma's Pumpkin Cookies. My grandma has a totally delicious and completely unhealthy recipe for pumpkin cookies (ingredients include Crisco) and I can't get enough of them. As soon as I un-misplace the recipe, I'll make you some :) Spiked apple cider is a good one, too...
4. Fall makes me think of sadly, romance because I started dating my first "real" boyfriend in the fall. Kind of a nostalgia thing. I wish it were a more fall-y feeling, and less of a boy-y feeling .
5. Autumn free form word association, go! Cattaraugus, leaves, red orange, apple, pumpkin guts, birthday .
6. My go-to outfit in the fall is jeans, boots, sweater, scarf. And underwear and stuff. So trendy.
7. My favorite fall holiday is (Halloween or Thanksgiving) Thanksgiving.
It's all the best parts about Christmas (food, family, friends,
togetherness) minus the commercialism. High Five, Pilgrims .
Adios- I have big plans to stumble blindly through my day thanks to neglectful overnight treatment of my vision gear.
great outfit picks :)
