Friday Feeling

All week, you look forward to Friday. The week may be good or bad, but it's always exciting to open your eyes on a Friday morning, feeling groggy and remember that TODAY! Today is Friday! It puts a little pep in my step, knowing that a little extra free time lies ahead.

This weekend I'll be celebrating several birthdays, doing a little bit of wedding dress preparation.

I tell everyone I know, but if you're planning a wedding, skip the hassle in bridesmaid dress shopping and go straight to Alfred Angelo. Their team here in Columbus have been a complete dream.

Tonight we're having dinner at Hofbrauhaus to celebrate Lynn's birthday.

Tomorrow, we're celebrating Holly with a little DIY and wine party!

My other big plans for the weekend are to take my car to the car doctor. I'm working from home today because my car battery has died three times in 24 hours, and it wheezed pathetically at me this morning when I tried to get to work.

I hope you're enjoying this first official day of spring and International Happiness Day! A holiday I've never heard of, but I see no issue with making an excuse to choose happiness!

Friday is Here!

My life lately is a race to the weekend. My weekends have been fun filled and exciting- my weeks have been busy and ...less fun-filled?

This weekend I'm making time for some chores and errands I've been putting off, like Zumba (the good), returning some unused items from last weekends surprise home makeover (the bad) and LAUNDRY (the ugly, the worst, the enemy!).

Here are some things to keep you busy this snowy-but-sunny Friday while you're twiddling your thumbs in preparation for the weekend:

Every day this week, my hair has had an unsettling resemblance to HER. Do they play an Easter special on TV these days?

This podcast is one of my favorite ways to pass time on a Friday.

This is the perfect gift for your vegetarian badass friend (we already have a copy and laugh every time we look it over!)

And you guys, you GUYS, I can't express how excited I am by this potentially disastrous novel.

Tonight is Game Night with friends. We're the proud owners of Cards Against Humanity but are looking for more fun party games- any suggestions?

And YES ABSOLUTELY, this is how I feel about weddings. This is perfect. I can't say it enough.

With that- Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend :)
