It may not be an original thought, but I thought of this yesterday while surfing the blogosphere instead of emailing gardeners. (Ugh, get your head out of the clouds, Stephanie!)
It looks like the "pot of gold' is probably in that house in the background. But think about perspective. From the house in the distance, the pot of gold might seem to be right in this yard. And when you look at the little girl, you think the people in the other house are probably right. And I think it's a good lesson on appreciating what you have, and knowing that you are lucky, no matter what it seems like someone else might have.
