Day 8- The Best Thing

When I started my 30 Day Holy Smokes challenge, I had just cancelled my unused gym membership. Each month I watched the direct withdrawal, and decided I didn't like it, and I wasn't going to the gym, so that's that, and now it's cancelled.

Approximately 5 days later, I decided to do this fitness business and kicked myself for dropping the gym membership. My Char-Prescribed work outs involved some gym equipment (side note: when I signed up, I was told all the necessary materials would a) already be at my house or b) provided for me by the trainer- LIES). I asked around to borrow some equipment and discovered that no one I know is a good sharer.

After a few days of non-workout, I was getting a little panicky that I wouldn't be able to complete the challenge, OR that I'd have to re-sign up for the gym, and The Best Thing happened. In a flash, I remembered that my Aunt has an in-home gym. And not only does she have the gym, she lives closer to my office than either my apartment or Mike's house. It's a five minute drive. And I can go any time.

This is all the stuff one could ever possibly need for any workout, including mats, different weighted weights, a TV and sound system and MIRRORS, so I can look at myself while I'm workin' on myself. I went yesterday and realized just how out of shape I really am...

It's on like Donkey Kong!
