My sisters and I planned a small getaway for our parents this weekend. We presented it as a Christmas gift and hope they have a wonderful time at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.
A short 3.5 hour drive from Columbus, Mike and I visited a few years ago. We really enjoyed our time there and recommend a weekend trip! We booked a few activities for them, but also suggested the Kentucky Derby Museum, of course, as well as the Muhammad Ali Center.
Have you ever sent your parents on a getaway? Would they like it, or would they hate being out of control of the arrangements?
